Face Brugge, MU Will Played The Young Players

Van Gaal believes that a mix of young and senior players such as his experience as coach of Ajax Amsterdam first, could resurrect MU achievement on the European stage.

"I think this team still has something to compete in Europe. I am not optimistic, because a big gap, but you have to believe in it. That's why I believe in the education of young players, "said Louis van Gaal at a press conference ahead of the face Club Brugge.

"When you see how many young players who owned Manchester United and playing, we started with Luke Shaw, then Depay, Adnan Januzaj, Jesse Lingard, Paddy McNair, they all play in this squad," he explained.

When asked if Manchester United can win the Champions League with Ajax style that combines the young and senior players, Van Gaal said: "Yes, I believe that I have more confidence in the combination of players aged from 27 years to 34 years."
